The Green Wing is officially open !!

We held a Grand Opening to celebrate our new extended facilities on Friday 10th July. The new extended facilities include 3 new classrooms, an arts and music centre, new music facilities, training facilities and a new staffroom.

The children and parents all gathered to watch as Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of (North Yorkshire) Mr Barry Dodd performed the opening ceremony.

The new wing will be named the Green Wing in recognition of the army who granted us a significant amount of money to fund the new build and our love of forest school and the outdoor environment.

It was dedicated to Margaret Bird who worked at school for 10 years, was a keen musician and a member of the Trust and the Parish Council.
